Los Angeles Jews Speak Out Against the ICE Raids
As Jewish Angelenos, we are horrified by the actions of the Trump administration. We stand against the ICE raids and the federalized deployment of armed forces against peaceful protestors in Los Angeles, our home.
Nearly ten percent of Angelenos are undocumented, and over 30 percent are immigrants. They are our relatives, friends, and coworkers. This attack endangers our community’s families, freedoms, and futures.
Many of us come from families who fled state violence. We were policed, imprisoned, and denied due process. We carry the collective memory of families torn apart—and the fierce knowledge that silence threatens democracy and enables oppression.
Again and again, our tradition calls on us to welcome the stranger and the immigrant— to speak out against injustice, not only when it's politically convenient. We stand with all of our immigrant neighbors, and for safety, dignity, and justice.

Protecting Your Workplace from ICE Guide Here is a snapshot:
Anyone- including ICE agents - can enter public areas of your business without permission.
Public areas include a dining area in a restaurant, parking lot, lobby or waiting area.
Being in a public area does NOT give ICE the authority to stop, question, or arrest just anyone.
No one can enter a private area of your organization without your permission or a judicial warrant.
One of the best defenses is to designate public vs. private areas clearly, and to have a plan with your staff ahead of time. You can find signage for that here
