Mission and Vision

The Jewish Partnership for Los Angeles is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit building power with Jewish Angelenos committed to creating a just, thriving Los Angeles County where all people can live in dignity, prosperity, and safety.

Through grassroots organizing, political mobilization, strategic advocacy, and civic education, we work to ensure that the progressive Jewish voice is present in critical debates around social and economic justice, anti-semitism, civil rights, and the protection of vulnerable communities. We draw on the rich legacy of Jewish Angelenos who helped build the institutions, civil society, and culture of our diverse region. 

We are proud Jewish Angelenos who are deeply committed to advancing the values of democracy, pluralism, equality, and justice. Our tradition instills in us the belief that every human life is sacred and inherently valuable. As Jews, it is an ethical imperative for us to push our societies to reflect this principle. 

We work towards a vision of Los Angeles and California that allows its diverse communities to live in dignity, prosperity and safety, free from antisemitism and other forms of bigotry and discrimination. These same values also guide our support for human rights and democracy for Israelis and Palestinians. 

We are committed to vigorously opposing and actively countering antisemitism of all forms, and to resisting the weaponization of antisemitism allegations to attack democracy and civil liberties.
